For the second night in a row the Canadiens came roaring out of the gate and then held on for dear life squeaking out the win. Carey price played a solid game in nets and really shone in the shootout against a hand full of talented Pittsburgh snipers. It was really nice to see another quick start for the Habs, but it is quickly becoming clear that the we have trouble finishing off our opponents.Goal scorers for the Habs were Dandenault, Markov and Ryder, and it was Markov who sealed the victory scoring in the 8th round of the shootout.
Game Hero's:
Markov, Koivu, Higgins, Komisarek, Dandenault, Price.
Game Zero's:
Begin (bad penalty late), Latendresse, Ryder.
Three Stars:
1) Evgeni Malkin
2) Mathieu Dandenault
3) Andrei Markov

keep calling out Ryder... He has got to show more or there is no way he will get a decent contract anywhere next year.
He has size and ability and apparently no heart or guts.
I agree. He just doesn't seem like he wants it badly enough. All Ryder has is his shot, and he needs to be working harder than the next guy out there...
in one of your polls, the one with "which team you hate the most?" how come the sens arent one of the options? ya know being so close to ottawa and playing them 8 times a year... please dont tell me your a sens fan too?

It seems Guy was so happy with Price's all-star shootout performance that hes starting him for Tuesday's game against Atlanta. Has anyone seen his new helmet, it looks like some kind of Knight on the side..

I didn't even think of putting the sens up there. They aren't really a rival of the Habs, and they are the nemesis of the Leafs. Anything that screws over the Leafs is great in my books!
